Banco Comercial e de Investimentos (BCI) has awarded prizes to the best graduates of the Accounting and Auditing, Accounting and Taxation and Master's in Auditing courses at the Instituto Superior de Contabilidade e Auditoria de Moçambique (ISCAM), recognizing the academic merit and dedication of the students.

During the graduation ceremony held last Friday (25) in Maputo, where ISCAM launched 180 professionals onto the market, including bachelor's and master's graduates, BCI's CEO, Francisco Costa, reaffirmed the bank's commitment as a strategic partner in higher education, stressing that this initiative represents an incentive for excellence, dedication and the training of professionals who will contribute to Mozambique's economic and social development.

"With this gesture, the company is reinforcing its mission to support causes that promote knowledge, competence and the positive transformation of Mozambican society," said Francisco Costa, quoted in a statement released by BCI.

For their part, the graduates reaffirmed their commitment to serving their country and expressed their deep gratitude to ISCAM, in particular the teaching staff, as well as their parents and guardians. "We want our contribution to be of capital importance in the lives of all citizens, because, after all, we are a proudly Mozambican product," they said, leaving a message of hope and a promise to use their talent and determination to build a promising future.

The event, which took place under the slogan "Training Professionals with Excellence for Global Challenges", was attended by the Secretary of State for Maputo City, Vicente Joaquim, who emphasized that "graduates must demonstrate responsibility, dedication, affection and respect for the community, so that we can improve the quality of the service provided to society".
