A candy factory that started its activities in Angola in October 2022 already exports its products to African markets, namely Mozambique, São Tomé and Príncipe, and Zambia.
This month, the company sent a 16-ton container of sweets to Mozambique, as well as to Zambia. In March of this year it sent more than a million tons to São Tomé and Príncipe, writes the newspaper's economic supplement News.
The Candy Factory, which produces candies, has already exported to these countries about 40 tons of candies, lollipops, and chewing gum, and plans to go to Cape Verde, Democratic Republic of Congo, Republic of Congo (Brazaville), Ivory Coast, and Ghana.
In the Angolan market the company has over five thousand points of sale. The investment in the infrastructure, about 15 billion kwanzas (1. 700 million meticais), results from the partnership between the Serbian group Nelt and the Angolan Oxbow. It has a production capacity of 6,700 tons per year, and occupies an area of 24,000 square meters.
