Alcinda Panguana é a “menina de ouro” do Golden Belt Series em boxe

She came, she saw and she won. Yes, Mozambican boxer Alcinda Panguana won her first gold medal at the Golden Belt Series International Boxing Tournament, which ended yesterday in Marrakech, Morocco.

In the 66-70 kg category, Panguana got the better of Russia's Anastassia Demurchian, winning 5-2.

Mozambique ended the competition with a total of four medals, with Alcinda Panguana winning gold and Rady Gramane, Helena Bagão and Yassine Nordine bronze.
With these medals, the Mozambican boxers have earned points that put them on course for the Olympic Games in Paris in 2024.

In this competition, our country was represented by seven boxers, namely Tiago Muchanga, Yassine Nordine, Armando Sigaúque, Benilde Macaringue, Rady Gramane, Helena Bagão and Alcinda Panguana.
