'I don't have a head for soccer anymore'. Is Neymar's career nearing its end?

“Já não tenho cabeça para o futebol”. A carreira de Neymar está perto do fim?

The Brazilian forward, Neymar Jr., who plays for Paris Saint-Germain, intends to end his career next year in the World Cup in Qatar.

In the documentary "Neymar & The Line Of Kings", the forward says he doesn't have the mental strength to continue in soccer for much longer.

The Brazilian international began by assuming that he can no longer stand the psychological pressure imposed on him by his profession.

"I see it as the last one [the Qatar 2022 World Cup], because I don't know if I will have the mental strength to continue dealing with soccer," he said in one of the interviews for the documentary.

With 69 goals in 113 games for the Brazilian national team, as well as 44 assists, Neymar may then retire from soccer. But first the Brazilian said he intends to fulfill a childhood dream.

"I will do everything to arrive very well, do everything to win with my country. To fulfill my dream, the biggest one [I have] since I was a kid. And I hope I can achieve it," he concluded.

The Brazilian star has participated in two World Cups, namely Brazil 2014 and Russia 2018. In these competitions things did not go in the best way for Neymar's national team, especially the 7-1 loss against Germany in 2014. Anyway, Neymar has left no credit to others in these competitions, and has a record of six goals in ten games.
