The National Meteorological Institute (INAM) warned this Thursday (03) of the formation of an atmospheric low pressure system to the east of the island of Madagascar, in the southwest Indian Ocean basin, which has evolved to the stage of a Moderate Tropical Storm.
According to a note from INAM, this system has been given the name ANCHA and does not yet pose a danger to the Mozambique Channel or the continental part of our country.
INAM calls on the population to continue to follow the weather information and warnings issued by the competent national authorities.
