The capacity to combat terrorism has been strengthened with the recent gift of 13 computers to the Central Office for Combating Organized and Transnational Crime (GCCCOT).

The equipment donated by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) should also be used to process information that can be used as evidence in court.

The equipment will be available for use by the GCCCOT magistrates at central level, and the focal points in the provinces, said the Director of the National Administration and Finance Service of the Attorney General's Office, Virgínia Bila, quoted by the National Press. News.

On the other hand, the UNODC undertakes to support the GCCCOT in matters of the application of anti-terrorist legislation and other measures in accordance with the rule of law.
