Maputo hosts the launch of the African conference on agricultural sciences tomorrow

Maputo acolhe amanhã o lançamento da conferência africana de ciências agronómicas

The city of Maputo will host the official launch of the timer for the 13th Conference of the African Society of Agronomic Sciences, to be held from September 16 to 19 at the Eduardo Mondlane University (UEM) Campus.

The aim of the event is to publicize the criteria for participation in the 13th Conference of the African Society of Agricultural Sciences.

According to a press release quoted by the newspaper NewsAt this international meeting, research results in agricultural sciences and technological innovation will be presented, as well as discussions on the way forward to achieve more resilient livelihood opportunities, increased food and nutritional security and agribusiness growth.

More than 400 (four hundred) guests are expected to attend, including scientists and innovators, farmers, entrepreneurs and agro-industries, educators and policy-makers involved in the agriculture-related value chain from all over Africa.
