The National Meteorological Institute (INAM) warns that the three provinces of the Northern Zone may be affected by a tropical depression with the potential to develop into a moderate Tropical Storm in the next few hours.

Bad weather is expected to be characterized by rain and locally strong winds in Nampula, Cabo Delgado and Niassa.

Winds could gust between 90 and 120 km/h. Rainfall is expected to reach more than 50 millimeters in 24 hours.
