Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in Paris on Monday morning, where he will meet with French President Emmanuel Macron.
Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky has landed at the Villacoublay air base, on the outskirts of Paris.
According to the international press, the expectation is that new military cooperation agreements will be signed, including the supply of aircraft, missiles and air defense systems by France.
The official visit comes at a difficult time for Ukraine, with the city of Pokrovsk, an important strategic point in the Donetsk region, about to fall into Russian hands.
At the end of October, Emmanuel Macron announced the imminent delivery to Kiev of anti-aircraft missiles and new Mirage 2000 fighter jets, three of which have already been delivered to Ukraine.
Meanwhile, last month, Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a letter of intent for the purchase of 100 to 150 Swedish Gripen fighter jets.
