Zambézia: Renamo marcha hoje em Quelimane em memória de Afonso Dhlakama

The city of Quelimane will today, Saturday (03), host a march promoted by the Renamo party in honor of its historic leader, Afonso Dhlakama, who died precisely seven years ago.

The mobilization, which kicks off at 8 a.m. from Perdiz's district headquarters, is expected to take in the main arteries of the Zambian capital, in a symbolic action that aims to remember the political legacy of Dhlakama, a key figure in the Mozambican opposition and defender of multipartyism.

According to a Txopela newspaperThe march takes place in a context of internal uncertainty within the party, which is still trying to reorient itself after his death, while keeping alive the narrative of resistance against the centralism of power.

It's worth remembering that just today, Frelimo announced a march in all the provincial capitals to celebrate 100 days of governance by the President of the Republic, Daniel Chapo.
