A fire, supposedly caused by a short circuit, destroyed last Wednesday night, the district deposit of medicines of Inhassunge, in Zambezia province, said official source quoted by Radio Mozambique.

Isaías Marcos, provincial chief medical officer, told RM that the fire, which broke out around 8 pm, reduced various medicine and office supplies to ashes.

According to the source, the building that housed the district drug depot was partially destroyed.
