The Minister of Transport and Communications, Mateus Magala, will lead the launch ceremony for Vodacom Mozambique's 5G technology this Friday, April 28, 2023, at 16:00, at the Polana Hotel in Maputo.

With the new technology, the operator intends to expand network coverage to new rural areas, promote better network and fiber availability, provide cutting-edge technology, as well as transform Vodacom's network architecture following the strategy adopted by Vodafone (Tech 2025).

The event will be attended by the Chairmen of the Boards of Directors of Vodacom Mozambique, Nuno Quelhas and the National Communications Institute of Mozambique (INCM), Tuaha Mote; Mayor of Maputo Eneas Comiche as well as Vodacom's partners, suppliers and customers.
