Today, the Democratic Alliance Coalition (CAD) went to Manica province, where, in the capital Chimoio, it presented Venâncio Mondlane as the coalition's list leader for the presidential elections on October 9.
The occasion also served to present the candidate of the group of parties for the post of Governor of Manica.
CAD President Manecas Daniel said that his presence in Manica was to introduce Mozambicans to those anointed by God to lead the nation.
He also said that all the parties committed to the CAD are equally committed to the will of the people and to bringing about change in the country.
For his part, Venâncio Mondlane showed his confidence in reaching the Presidency of the Republic, and said that, during the campaigns, the CAD will present a governance project, "not a manifesto".
"It's going to be much more than just an electoral aspect. There are very clear ideas, which have been very well designed, about what this country really needs to be the great nation it should have been a long time ago," he said.
For Mondlane, it is important to change the historical-political paradigm of the country, listed among the poorest in the world despite its abundance of wealth.
"Mozambique has to move from being among the poorest to being among the best in the world," he said, noting, however, the lack of good management, integrity, ideas and projects for "Mozambique to be a great nation".
