After Mozambique dawned calmer yesterday (30) following the last round of three days of protests, presidential candidate Venâncio Mondlane promises another round of social protest next Tuesday (03).
According to Venâncio Mondlane, who was speaking yesterday at yet another live through his Facebook page, assured that until the electoral truth is restored, the demonstrations in the country will continue. "We are going to occupy the city of Maputo until the will of the people is returned. Otherwise, the city of Maputo will be occupied indefinitely, without steps," emphasized the PODEMOS presidential candidate.
Venâncio Mondlane added that "the people are ready to take power and, in fact, have already taken power". "And the time has come," he said.
In addition, Mondlane once again called on Mozambicans to dispense with the end-of-year festivities in order to straighten out the country. "We want to organize our country," said the candidate.
