Turista morre após ter sido atacado por um elefante no Kruger Park

A tourist was killed by an elephant on Saturday (25) in South Africa's Kruger Park, announced the South African national parks agency SAN Parks.

"A tragic accident occurred when a tourist was attacked and trampled by an elephant near the Crocodile River at Malelane Gate. Sadly, the accident resulted in the loss of a life," said the agency in a statement quoted by AFP.

Following the incident, SAN Parks asked people not to post images of the incident on social media.

With around 20,000 square kilometers of savannah stretching into neighboring Mozambique, Kruger is South Africa's largest game park. With the exception of the fenced campsites and some picnic areas, it is forbidden to leave your vehicle.
