The Government today approved the Decree approving the Public Administration Careers and Remuneration System and Professional Qualifiers. It repeals Decree no. 30/2018, of May 22, which approves the Regulation of the Careers and Remuneration Subsystem, and Decree no. 14/2017, of May 18, which introduces changes to the indicative tables of the general, special and specific careers listed in Annexes I and II of Decree no. 54/2009, of September 8.
The spokesman for the Council of Ministers, Inocêncio Impissa, explained that the revision aims to harmonize the Professional Qualifiers with the salary levels established in the Single Salary Table (TSU), and to define the minimum and maximum levels of careers and professional categories, as well as the criteria for progression in the TSU.
Impissa clarified that the approval of the revision corresponds to one of the crucial stages in the framework of the salary reform introduced in 2022, with a strong potential to minimize the essential concerns presented by civil servants and beyond, as well as to improve the overall career management process in the Mozambican Public Administration.
At today's session, the government approved a resolution approving the Timber Harvesting Quota for 2025.
