According to a RFIThe death of the three civilians was confirmed by the DECIDE Platform, which also said that there were dozens of wounded and hundreds of detainees.
The political and judicial impasse between presidential candidate Venâncio Mondlane and the ruling Frelimo party led protesters to burn garbage in the streets and throw stones at the police, who responded with real bullets.
