South African President Cyril Ramaphosa has sent a message of condolence to Filipe Nyusi for the deaths of around 100 people in the shipwreck that occurred on Sunday off Ilha de Moçambique, in Nampula province.
Cyril Ramaphosa says in his message that the South African people are "deeply saddened by the tragedy" and wishes success in the search efforts for the missing people.
Ramaphosa wishes the survivors of Sunday's incident a speedy recovery.
