Self-employed workers (TCP), namely fishermen, seamstresses and tailors, based in Nampula province, including pensioners, have just received support from the National Institute of Social Security (INSS), consisting of 60 freezers, 60 colmen (portable refrigerators) and 40 sewing machines, as part of the Health and Social Action Program, developed by this institution.
The delivery of the support was made by the Minister of Labor and Social Security, Margarida Adamugi Talapa, to the Secretary of State in Nampula Province, Mety Oreste Gondola, last Friday, on the sidelines of the National Meeting of INSS, which took place from the 15th to the 16th of the current month, in the city of Nampula.
The act, which, in addition to members of the government, social partners, and the participants of the meeting, was attended by part of the beneficiaries, namely fishermen who are registered in the social security system, as self-employed, including others who are about to register, in a strategy aimed at strengthening the conservation capacity of their product and thus guarantee income production, through the respective commercialization.
Margarida Talapa, briefly addressing those covered, highlighted the importance that the Government gives to these social groups, stressing the relevance of citizens being registered in the social security system.
He urged the beneficiaries to make good use of the goods received.
The term of delivery was initialed by the Secretary of State in Nampula Province, Mety Oreste Gondola, and the Director General of INSS, Joaquim Moisés Siúta.
