Tmcel launches wireless broadband

Tmcel - Moçambique Telecom S.A, recently launched a product called "MaxTurbo", which consists of post-paid Internet packages with limited and unlimited Internet access, through a modern and advanced wireless broadband solution.

According to a note sent to our newsroom, the solution uses the LTE (4.5G) network associated with the modem in the customer's home and aims to solve the problem of demand for Internet service, with large capacities for residential customers who are in areas that do not yet have fiber optic coverage.

These packages, says the note, offer priority on the network for download and upload, at a fixed cost, that is, without additional cost.

For the limited packages, if the customer exhausts the contracted data volume, they have the option of purchasing an additive package via the customer line or at Tmcel stores.

The minimum monthly cost of the service is 700 meticais, excluding the modem (LTE /4.5G), which can be purchased at Tmcel stores.
