The China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) said today that electric vehicle company, Tesla, sold 52,859 vehicles manufactured in Chinese territory in November, including 21,127 for export.
In the previous month, October, Elon Musk's company sold 54,391 vehicles made in China, including 40,666 that were exported.
Tesla is currently manufacturing Model 3 sedans and Model Y sport utility vehicles in Shanghai, China.
Chinese EV maker Nio produced 10,878 cars in November, a monthly record, and Xpeng delivered 15,613 vehicles. Volkswagen said it sold more than 14,000 ID. series EV vehicles in China in November.
CPCA said November passenger car sales in China totaled 1.85 million, down 12.5% from a year earlier.
