"I got my nails dirty with blood" by Benigna Uate launched today at Radisson Blu

BENIGNA UATE is a young Mozambican woman who debuts today in literature. At 1:30 pm will be the launch of her work "Sujei as unhas com sangue" in the Rovuma Room of the Radisson Blu Hotel.

Benigna Agnelo Uate, a 27-year-old young Mozambican from Gaza province, makes her literary debut with "Sujei as unhas com sangue". The launch can be seen on TV Success or on the Facebook page Master of the Mind.

A teacher by profession, she has a degree in Educational Psychology with a minor in Social Work from the Pedagogical University, where she was, at the time, distinguished as the best student in the course.

It was poetry that, early on, opened the door to his interest in letters, and he recited his first poem at the age of 8. Manjacaze High School also has something to tell; after all, he graduated from high school there and was highlighted in writing contests.

It is his debut in literature, with his fingernails all dirty with blood.

Her work comes to us with the seal of InterEscolas Editores. The author does not unveil, for now, the mystery of why and how she got blood under her fingernails, but she points to the possibility, indeed the certainty, that all of us, in some circumstance, have soiled or are subject to the need to clean ourselves, or to take precautions. It is, however, known to be a novel with Mozambican soul and character, from the characters themselves to the narrative itself.

Tomorrow there will be a book signing and exchange of words with the author, in the Dona Berta garden, starting at 1:00 pm.
