Sweden to cooperate with Mozambique on renewable energy

The Swedish government will cooperate with Mozambique in the areas of renewable energy and also access to financing through the Climate Fund.

The information was shared this Friday, by the Minister of Land and Environment, Ivete Maibaze, at the end of a meeting she had with the Swedish Minister of International Cooperation and Development, Matilda Encrance, on the margins of the International Climate Conference, Stockholm +50, taking place in Sweden.

During the meeting with the Swedish governor, Ivete Maibaze talked about the positive impacts of climate adaptation and resilience initiatives, focusing on the local adaptation plans that are being implemented in Mozambique.
