More than 3,000 athletes will take part in an athletics marathon tomorrow, Sunday (25), in the city of Maputo. This is an initiative promoted by Standard Bank Mozambique in the year it celebrates 130 years.

Called the "Blue Race", the athletics marathon, which is now in its sixth edition, will be attended by athletes from various parts of the city and province of Maputo.

According to the organizers, the race will cover 30 kilometers, in addition to the 21 and 7 previously known, passing through Avenida 10 de Novembro, the waterfront and the ring road in Maputo city.

"We are a bank that promotes social inclusion, which is why we decided to once again cover the category of wheelchair users, and the routes defined are 10 de Novembro, marginal and the Maputo ring road," explained the Marketing Director of Standard Bank Mozambique, Dayse Correia.
