With the aim of improving the viewing experience of television content, DStv and GOtv Mozambique launched today, January 25, the "up your package" campaign valid from January 25 to March 31, 2023.

The promotion offers active and inactive customers a wider range of content at super-affordable prices.

During this period, DStv and GOtv customers who pay for the package above their current one will receive the next package for free on our account. For example: if you're a DStv Base customer (415 Mt), you pay for DStv Fácil (685 Mt) and receive DStv Família (1,090 Mt) as a free gift. If you're a GOtv Lite customer (210 Mt), you pay for GOtv Essential (415 Mt) and receive GOtv Plus (635 Mt) as a gift.

"We launched this offer as a strategy to add greater value, satisfaction, retention and improve our customers' experience. We have a variety of channels for children, young people and adults of both sexes. The expectation is that customers will get to know our packages and explore the best of what we have on our platforms," explained Jónia Presado, Marketing, Communications and Public Relations Director at MultiChoice Mozambique.

The "up your package" campaign allows DStv and GOtv customers to access the varied programming available in the higher packages for the price of a lower package. The initiative makes much of the content more accessible to a wide range of viewers.

How does the campaign work?

The customer must pay for the package above his current one in order to receive the package above it as a gift. The new viewing package on DStv and GOtv will be available 48 hours after payment.

Example: On DStv

DStv Base customers who upgrade to Easy will be able to watch DStv Família content for free: in this package customers have more than 60 entertainment, movie, sports, information, music, children's, lifestyle and religious channels.

The Maningue Magic channel with Mozambican scenes (soap operas, reality shows, magazines, music shows and series) is available on DStv Família.

Customers of the DStv Fácil package who upgrade to Família will be able to watch DStv Grande content for free: fantastic! This package consists of over 80 channels (FOX, Mundo FOX, Cinemundo, AXN Movies, SuperSport 2, SuperSport Premier League, Boomerang and Disney Channel), 12 of which are reserved for all the live sports action (soccer, basketball and much more).

Customers of the DStv Family package who upgrade to the Grande package will be able to watch DStv Grande Mais content for free: for sports lovers, with an emphasis on the European Champions League, Formula 1 and UFC, this package guarantees all the live and exclusive action of SuperSport - The World of Champions! The package has over 90 channels, 17 of which are reserved for broadcasting news, magazines and live matches from all sports.

Customers of the DStv Grande package who upgrade to the Grande Mais package will watch DStv Bué content for free: from TVCine channels, SuperSport Grandstand, MTV to SuperSport Action. The DStv Bué package is more movies, sport, music and much more... It has over 115 channels with an infinite variety of entertainment content for viewers.

Customers of the DStv Grande Mais package who upgrade to the DStv Bué package will be able to watch DStv Mega content for free: from M-Net channels, TV Cine, SuperSport and children's channels. The DStv Mega package has over 180 channels, 22 of which are dedicated to children.

GOtv Lite customers who upgrade to Essential will enjoy GOtv Plus content:
