The industry and commerce sector and businessmen in Manica are meeting in the city of Chimoio to manifest the contribution of intellectual property and the valorization of intangible assets.

At the opening of the meeting, the director general of the Intellectual Property Institute, José Meque, quoted by Radio Mozambique, challenged young people to create conditions for creativity in innovation.

José Meque, said that the industry and commerce sector in coordination with the Ministry of Science and Technology will provide the necessary support.

The leader was speaking at a seminar on the role of intellectual property as part of the festivities for World Intellectual Property Day, which took place last Tuesday.

The provincial director of Industry and Commerce of Manica, Maria de Assunção, explained that the youth must be creative in finding solutions that plague modern societies.

More than 40 entrepreneurs and innovators from all districts of Manica province are participating in the seminar on the role of intellectual property in building a sustainable future.

The meeting is under the motto: "Under the motto role of intellectual property in building a sustainable future".
