The Russian Foreign Ministry said on Sunday (22) that Russia strongly condemns the US attacks on Iran's nuclear facilities.

"The irresponsible decision to subject the territory of a sovereign state to missile and bomb attacks, whatever the arguments put forward, flagrantly violates international law, the UN Charter and UN Security Council resolutions," the ministry said in its statement.

"We call for an end to the aggression and greater efforts to create conditions for the situation to return to a political and diplomatic course," the ministry said.
