Russia storms and destroys Ukraine's second largest city

The Russian army left in ruins part of the city of Kharkiv, the second largest Ukrainian city. The attacks occurred, this Tuesday, in specific points, such as the city's main square where the local government, the opera and other public buildings are located. The preliminary balance is 10 dead and 20 wounded.

The city of Kharkiv was bombed during the night and during the morning. The buildings in the city's central square, Freedom Square, were completely destroyed by Russian missiles.

Several buildings surrounding the centers of the explosions suffered collateral damage, losing glass and windows due to the impacts of the bombs. This warns of the possibility that there may be people under the rubble.

The Russian government spokesman in Kiev has warned civilians still in and around the city to withdraw, with a military column of more than 40 miles already on its way into the city.

Russians and Ukrainians return to the negotiating table as early as Wednesday. On Monday, negotiations were suspended after several hours of meeting without any conclusion between the two sides.
