The Assembly of the Republic has just decided to postpone the debate on revising the Laws of the Police of the Republic of Mozambique (PRM) and the National Criminal Investigation Service (SERNIC) until the next parliamentary term.
Without giving any reasons for her decision, the President of the Assembly of the Republic made the announcement after a private meeting of the standing committee, according to "O País".
It should be noted that today's debate included the creation of a new branch of the Police of the Republic of Mozambique, called the Criminal Illicit Investigation Branch (RIC), which was announced last March by the government spokesman, Filimão Suaze.
