The Renamo party is the only one that, in court, presented the original minutes and notices of the preliminary results of the election held on October 11, 2023, Venâncio Mondlane revealed.

The Renamo list leader, who claims victory in the Maputo municipality with 53% votes, said that the electoral bodies and the Frelimo party do not have original notices.

"Yesterday the courts started trying the cases. The only party that has original minutes and notices is Renamo. Neither the electoral bodies nor Frelimo have them," he denounced during the demonstration in Maputo today.

According to Mondlane, this proves that the electoral bodies and Frelimo engineered maneuvers to divert the original minutes and editas, which are the material proof of their victory in the elections.

"They destroyed these materials and produced fake material. Therefore, Renamo must be given the victory, without a shadow of a doubt," he said.

He noted, however, that the offense in question, tampering with evidence by forgery, is a serious crime.

"It means that all those who falsified the notices and minutes must be held criminally responsible," he said.
