To this end, according to AIMThe Maputo mayor appointed Francisco Mabjaia as chairman of EMME's Board of Directors, replacing João Ruas. Elsa Vitória was appointed to the financial area, replacing Pedro Cossa, while Sérgio Chone is now chairman of the newly created Supervisory Board.

The appointment of the new officers comes in the context of growing dissatisfaction with the current parking model in the city, marked by fines and approaches considered excessive, and aims to make the services more efficient and accessible to the population.

For his part, Francisco Mabjaia pledged to meet the challenges set, promoting dialogue and internal collaboration to define the company's new direction.
