The water supply service to the neighborhoods of Machava, Tsalala, Intaka, Matlhemele and Guava has been conditioned due to the collapse of a medium voltage line in the district of Moamba, Maputo province.

In a statement, the company Águas da Região Metropolitana de Maputo said that the impacts of this event will result in low pressures in the distribution network to the areas indicated above, which could lead to pockets of water shortages.

The company also said in the statement that a team is already on the ground working to quickly restore normal service.

In view of the inconvenience the situation may cause to customers and consumers in the affected areas, the company is appealing for everyone's understanding.
