A commentator on Iranian state television said that after the recent US attack on Iran's nuclear facilities, "every US citizen or military person in the region is now a legitimate target".

"From now on, every American citizen and every American soldier are legitimate targets. The US president has chosen to receive the coffins of 50,000 American soldiers in Washington," said the Channel 3 anchor.

Iranian state media also displayed a graphic entitled "Within Iran's Firing Range", showing US bases across the Middle East.

The commentator also left a message for the American president: "Trump, you started it. We're going to finish".

On Saturday (21), the US attacked three Iranian nuclear facilities, including Fordow, Natanz and Esfahan. Iran confirmed the attacks.

The US operation comes after a week of air fighting between Israel and Iran.
