The refereeing team also includes Bogola Issa as first assistant, Mopussa Hafiz (second assistant) and Pousri Alfred, who will be the fourth official for the match.
The match between the two teams will take place in the Malian capital, Bamako, on September 6. Four days later, on the 10th, the Mambas host their counterparts from Guinea Bissau at the Zimpeto National Stadium, a match scheduled for 3pm.
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed a refereeing team from Djibouti for the match, led by Mohamed Guedi, assisted by Rachid Bouraleh, Robleh Robleh and Mahamoud Mahamou as the fourth official.
After facing the Guinean side, the national team will meet eSwathini, a match that will once again take place at the Zimpeto National Stadium, this time between October 7 and 15. In what will be a double-header, the Mambas will once again face the same opponents on Swati soil.
In the fifth and sixth rounds of the competition, Mozambique will host Mali and Guinea Bissau. The two matches are scheduled to take place between November 11 and 19, bringing the qualifying phase for the most important continental soccer competition to a close. (The Country)
