The President of the Mozambican Football Federation, Feizal Sidat, is in Cairo, the capital of Egypt, to find out about the logistical aspects of the Mozambique/Uganda challenge for the 2026 World Cup.

The match will take place on the 20th of this month at 3pm at the Cairo International Stadium in Egypt.

Feizal Sidat, quoted by Radio Mozambique, said that the pitch at the Cairo International Stadium is in good condition to host the important match in the Mambas' bid to qualify for the 2026 World Cup.

The Egyptian capital, Cairo, is also hosting the twenty-fourth elective CAF General Assembly next Wednesday.

Leading figures in African soccer, including the presidents of CAF's 54 member associations and its six zonal unions, as well as important players in international soccer, will come together at this meeting, chaired by CAF president Patrice Motsepe.

The new CAF board will be elected, and South African Patrice Motsepe is the only candidate to succeed himself.

There will also be the election of the members of the Caf's executive committee, called the Board, a kind of board of directors.

The President of the Mozambican Football Federation, Feizal Sidat, is a candidate for Cosafa's executive committee and is confident.
