As it happens every year, the L'Équipe released on Wednesday the salaries of all the players in Ligue 1 and there are plenty of surprises. The biggest focus is on PSG, the team with the highest wages.
According to Notícias ao Minuto, Mbappé, for example, has a monthly salary of six million euros, almost double that of Neymar and Messi, who earn 3.675 and 3.375 million euros respectively.
Of course, Mbappé is the highest paid player in the French league, followed by the aforementioned teammates, but there are more surprises.
Nordi Mukiele, who left RB Leipzig for PSG, earns 700,000 euros a month, which puts him at the bottom of the top 10 highest paid players. Next comes the first non-PSG player: Wissam Ben Yedder, from AS Monaco, earns 650,000 euros, which is more than, for example, Renato Sanches (15th), who earns 540,000 euros, like his colleague Fabian Ruiz.
