The Mozambican territory is experiencing anomalies in the provision of mobile data for internet access due to problems with the submarine cables between Maputo station and South Africa.
The limitations have been in place since the early hours of Sunday, and on the same day the internet providers assured that Mozambican technical teams are working with international counterparts to restore normality.
This restriction comes at a time when the country is debating its dissatisfaction with the tariffs set by telephone providers as a result of measures imposed by the National Communications Institute of Mozambique (INCM).
According to the regulator, there has been a reduction in tariffs, but the elimination of packages with unlimited bonuses is weighing on citizens' pockets.
