The Republic of Mozambique Police (PRM) said on Friday that they are looking for clues to the arrest of the individuals who shot dead a 60-year-old woman in a beauty salon located between Emília Daússe and Filipe Samuel Magaia avenues in Maputo city on Thursday.
Speaking to the press, Leonel Muchina, spokesman for the PRM in Maputo City, said that the crime scene had already been mapped and factually examined.
"There is some evidence recorded on some surveillance cameras, which we imagine could be useful in clarifying the case," he said.
Regarding the alleged connection between the woman's death and individuals linked to the crime of kidnapping, the police source said they had no control over the crime of kidnapping, but assumed that the victim had been followed from her home in the Alto-Maé neighborhood.
