The Prime Minister, Adriano Maleiane, challenges the new members of the National Council for Higher Education (CNES) to work to ensure that the expansion of higher education institutions and the widening of access are accompanied by the continuous improvement of the quality of education.
Maleiane, who was speaking on Wednesday in Maputo on the occasion of the inauguration of the new members of CNES, said that this body should promote research-oriented training in order to contribute to the search for solutions to the main challenges of the country's socio-economic development.
The following have been sworn in as members of the National Council for Higher Education (CNES): Aissa Cármem Aiuba, Andrade Fernando Egas, Betterncourt Capece, Edna Collinnsson, Gil Cumiao Juvenal Arcanjo Dengo, and Nelson Júlio Chacha.
