The South African presidency confirmed on Thursday that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will pay a working visit to South Africa on the 24th of this month.
According to Rádio Moçambique, which carried the news, the agenda for Zelensky's visit has not been released.
Meanwhile, the two heads of state are expected to discuss global issues, including the conflict with Russia.
It should be noted that Cyril Ramaphosa leads the African Peace Initiative, a mission by several African heads of state to reach a peaceful solution to end the current war.
Meanwhile, the uMkhonto weSizwe Party and the South African Communist Party are criticizing the government for hosting Zelensky's visit, saying it goes against the country's non-aligned stance. (RM Johannesburg)
