The President of Timor-Leste, José Ramos-Horta, and his delegation arrived at Maputo International Airport at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 3, 2024.

The delegation was received by Mozambique's Minister for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Verónica Macamo,

During his visit to Mozambique, President Ramos-Horta will meet with the President of Mozambique, Filipe Nyusi.

The President of East Timor will also take part in bilateral meetings, followed by the signing of agreements and a joint press conference with President Nyusi.

The President's program in Mozambique will also include the laying of a wreath in Heroes' Square, receiving the Key to the City of Maputo, a meeting with the President of the Assembly of the Republic of Mozambique, Esperança Bias, participation in a state banquet at the Ponta Vermelha Palace, a lecture at the Eduardo Mondlane University on "Timor-Leste, the Region and the World" and a visit to the CPLP Strategic Analysis Centre.
