The President of the Republic, Daniel Chapo, sent a message of greetings and encouragement to Mozambican Christians today, Friday (18), on the occasion of the celebration of Easter.

In a statement released by the Presidency of the Republic, Daniel Chapo highlights the spiritual significance of this date for the country's families and communities. The Head of State hopes that "Easter will be a time of spiritual renewal, strengthened faith and renewed hope for all Mozambican families".

The President of the Republic called on Christians to be instruments of change, cultivating forgiveness, humility and commitment to the common good.

In the same note, the Mozambican statesman also reiterated his wish that this religious celebration would inspire all Mozambicans to promote peace, social cohesion and solidarity throughout the country.
