The President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, has promulgated and ordered the publication of the Law Revising Law number 13/99, of November 1, the Cashew Law.

In another piece of legislation, the Head of State promulgated and ordered the publication of the Law Revising Law number 7/2006, of August 16, which approves the Statute, Powers and Functioning of the Ombudsman's Office.

According to RM, the above-mentioned laws were recently approved by parliament and submitted to the President of the Republic for promulgation, with the Head of State verifying that they do not contravene the Basic Law.
