In the use of the powers conferred on him by the Organic Statute of the Police of the Republic of Mozambique, the Head of State has determined, by Presidential Order, the promotion to the rank of Assistant Police Commissioner, in the class of Police Commissioners, of the Chief Superintendents of Police, Rosário Miquitaio and Valentim José Chiconela.

On the other hand, under the article that creates the National Penitentiary Service, President Daniel Chapo decided, by Presidential Order, to promote the Chief Superintendents of the Penitentiary Guard, Jaime Manel Muriezai and Yazalde Viana Serafina de Sousa, to the rank of First Assistant Commissioner of the Penitentiary Guard.
