The President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, made changes in the direction of the higher education institutions of the Armed Forces of Defense and Security of Mozambique, indicates a statement from the Presidency of the Republic.

In the new structure, as proposed by the Ministry of Defense, Freitas Norte, former vice-commander of the Marechal Samora Machel Military Academy, will now be the commander of the Lieutenant-General Armando Emílio Guebuza Higher Institute for Defense Studies.

According to the note from the Presidency quoted by Lusa, Moisés Manuel Cau assumes the position of deputy commander for the Academic Area of the Higher Institute for Defense Studies Lieutenant-General Armando Emílio Guebuza and Patrick Luís Enessi becomes deputy commander for the Administrative Area of the Higher Institute for Defense Studies Lieutenant-General Armando Emílio Guebuza.

In order for them to assume their new roles, Freitas Norte was promoted to Major General, Moisés Manuel Cau to Brigadier, and Patrick Luís Enesse to Commodore.
