President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi and wife, Isaura Nyusi, have tested positive for covid-19, indicates a press release issued by the Presidency of the Republic.

According to the document, the Head of State underwent rapid tests with positive results. Even being asymptomatic Filipe Nyusi and wife comply with the isolation.

Meanwhile, the President of the Republic is renewing his appeals for the need to comply with the measures to prevent the disease, while calling for vaccination.
