The President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, has promulgated and ordered the publication of the Law that establishes the legal framework for the election of the President of the Republic and the members of the Assembly of the Republic.

In another presidential order, the Head of State promulgated and ordered the publication of the Law that establishes the legal framework for the election of members of the Provincial Assembly and the Provincial Governor, according to a presidential statement.

The laws were recently approved by the Assembly of the Republic and submitted to the President of the Republic for promulgation, with the Head of State verifying that they do not contradict the Basic Law.
