The President of the Republic, Daniel Chapo, has promulgated and ordered the publication of Law No. 1/2025 approving the Political Commitment for a National and Inclusive Dialogue, recently approved by the Assembly of the Republic (AR).

A note from the Presidency of the Republic states that the promulgation of this law is the result of the urgent scheduling requested by the Head of State, regarding the request for the proposed law in accordance with the understanding reached between the government, political parties, represented in the AR, Provincial and Municipal Assemblies, on March 5th.

"This act, which reflects the PR's firm commitment to promoting Peace, National Unity and Strengthening public institutions, opens a new stage in the National and Inclusive Political Dialogue that will include, among other things, the establishment of bodies to implement the Political Commitment Law for a National and Inclusive Dialogue, as well as the inclusion of organizations and platforms from civil society, the private sector, academia, professional orders and associations, religious confessions, local leaders, the general population, among others," the document quoted by the press states.
