The President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, determined, through a Presidential Decree, the revision of the composition and functioning of the Air Safety and Facilitation Commission.

This is an inter-ministerial body for coordination, promotion, and establishment of the conditions for facilitation and aviation security, says a presidential communiqué to which we have had access.

The Air Safety and Facilitation Commission is composed of the Ministers of National Defense, Interior, Transport and Communications, Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Tourism, Health, Director-General of the State Information and Security Service and the President of the Mozambican Tax Authority.

According to the communiqué, it is up to the Interministerial Commission for Public Administration Reform to approve the Organic Statute within 60 days.
