The President of the Republic, Daniel Chapo, led the swearing-in ceremony of Maria Benvinda Delfina Levi, Prime Minister of the Republic of Mozambique, as a member of the National Defense and Security Council (CNDS) on Thursday morning (16) at the Presidency of the Republic.

Following the swearing-in ceremony, the President of the Republic will lead the Second Ordinary Session of the National Defense and Security Council.

This session follows the one held on July 14, 2025, which analyzed, among other things, the security situation on national territory, with an emphasis on the Northern Operational Theatre.
